Karol G was one of the singers who performed on stage at the recent Premios Juventud 2021 delivery , awards given by the Hispanic network Univisión. The Colombian reggaeton performed her new song “200 copas” , accompanied by a mariachi made up of women. Many have applauded her performance and other people like the Mexican music singer Ángela Aguilar , have criticized her.

Reggaeton Karol G, known as the “Bichota” of the urban genre, has been criticized for having said rude words during her presentation; previously the Puerto Rican singer Noelia believed that this was a lack of respect for traditional Mexican music.

In a meeting with several media at the Mexico City International Airport, Angela Aguilar said he did not think this action Karol G.

Mexican music is universal and everyone can sing it, but I had never heard someone use bad words in songs.

Faced with criticism of Karol G, businesswoman Mayeli Alonso , ex-wife of Regional Mexican singer Lupillo Rivera (brother of the late Jenni Rivera, “La Diva de la Banda”), came to his defense and attacked Ángela Aguilar, the so-called “Princess of Mexican music”.
