Here is a list of the most anticipated films in 2019.

1. Captain Marvel

Captain Marvel will be released in March 2019 and is the first movie in the Marvel universe whose main character is a woman. It is the story of Carol Danvers, a US fighter pilot who acquires superpowers after her DNA accidentally mixes with that of a Skrull. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Craig Clark.

2. Toy Story 4

Toy Story is one of the most popular animated films of all time. In this sequel, the cowboy Woody and Buzz Lightyear, whose voices are borrowed by Oscar winner Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, decide, as it were, to take a trip. Also starring Joan Cusack, Annie Potts, Tony Hale, Jordan Peele and, last but not least, Keanu Reeves. Toy Story 4 promises to be a fun, educational and emotional film for all ages. The premiere of Toy Story 4 is in June 2019.

3. Star Wars Episode IX

Star Wars is one of the most popular and successful films of all time and its premiere is scheduled for the end of 2019. Star Wars Episode IX will be the last film in the series in which the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker will appear. This installment was written and directed by JJ Abrams. Some of the cast names include Kelly Marie Tran, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, John Boyega, Naomi Ackie, Matt Smith, to name a few.

4. Frozen 2

The popular movie Frozen was released in 2013 as an instant hit. The second part, Frozen 2, will be released in November 2019 although not much is known about its history. Frozen’s original voices are by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff.

5. Avengers Endgame

Undoubtedly the last movie of the Avengers will be fantastic and it would be the 22nd movie of the Marvel universe. The superheroes that star her are Captain America and Iron Man, represented by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr, as well as Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle. Film experts say that Avengers Endgame will be a blockbuster in 2019.

6. John Wick 3

One of the best action movies of modern times is John Wick and he is ready to return with his chapter 3. In the movie, everyone’s favorite Keanu Reeves flees from assassins who want to kill him for a reward of $ 14 million dollars. It also has the participation of Halle Berry, Laurence Fishburne, Mark Dacascos, Asia Kate Dillon, Lance Reddic, Ian McShane and Anjelica Huston. John Wick 3 opens in May 2019.

7. Aladdin

Disney is about to launch a new Aladdin movie. The original animation was screened in the early 90s and this new version, unlike the first, will be in Live Action and will be starring the charismatic actor Will Smith. It also has the participation of other stars such as Mena Masud, Naomi Scott, Marwan Kenzari, Navid Negahban and Nasim Pedrad. It is expected to be fun for the whole family and arrive in theaters in May.

8. Charlie’s
Angels Charlie’s Angels returns after 20 years and will be released in November 2019. In addition to showing three beautiful and empowered women hitting villains, the film is expected to be full of comedy and action.

Last year, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Stewart and Ella Balinska were presented as the new angels, in addition to co star Elizabeth Banks, Patrick Stewart, Djimon Hounsou and last but not least, the renowned Mexican actor Luis Gerardo Méndez.

9. X-Men: The Dark Phoenix

All the films in this series keep high expectations and X-Men: The Dark Phoenix is no exception. In this sequel the main star Sophie Turner (also known for starring in Game of Thrones) will be Jean Gray, who struggles to take control of herself and her most destructive part known as the Phoenix. Also starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Jessica Chastain and Evan Peters. X-Men: The Dark Phoenix will be released in June of this year.

10. The Lion King
Another Disney remake for this 2019 is the Live Action of the Lion King. The original animation was launched in 1994 and became one of the most popular of boys and girls. The new Lion King will be launched in July 2019 and will feature Beyonce Knowles, Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, John Oliver and James Earl Jones.
