The new Sofía Vergara is brunette and has curly hair

Sofía Vergara triumphed in Hollywood with her role as a Colombian sex symbol in the Modern Family series, a character who would later confess that she was created in her image and likeness since Gloria Delgado shares a lot with Sofía Vergara.

Although the one from Barranquilla was already a well-known model in her land and she has published on her networks some memories of her from her adolescence and the bikini photo sessions with which she began her adventure behind the cameras. 

With her career already consolidated and sweeping the dynamic duo that she has formed with Heidi Klum as judges of the talent show America’s Got Talent, the star has embarked on a new project which will return to the small screen next year: she will play the drug trafficker Griselda Blanco and has undergone an obvious physical transformation to get into her skin.

Sofía Vergara will play Griselda Blanco in the new Netflix series scheduled for 2023, a Colombian drug trafficker known by the nickname “The Black Widow” and who died in 2012. For the role, the actress moves away from the comedy register with which she finds so familiar:

“Griselda Blanco was a larger-than-life character whose ruthless yet resourceful tactics allowed her to rule a billion-dollar empire years before many of the more notorious male capos we know much about,” stated the actress in the statement announcing a project for him has been thoroughly prepared internally and also externally. 

From what we have been able to see so far, we discover that in the series she will wear curly hair in a darker tone than she has for years and for which she said goodbye to her natural blonde to fit in with Hollywood. 

In addition, she undergoes prosthetic makeup sessions to alter her features and has just shared with her fans one of these moments from what has been her last week of filming. 

To mimic the Colombian criminal, Sofía Vergara spends hours in the makeup and hairdressing chair as we see in this image that she has published on the networks. Before shooting, she arrives with the look we know and wakes up with a different one:
