Return ‘Predator’, more lethal than ever

31 years ago that Arnold Schwarzenegger had to face a rival of a power never seen before. A true extraterrestrial space hunter capable of killing each and every one of Arnie’s mercenary companions in the blink of an eye.

Since then, the Predator franchise has brought us two sequels and two other films starring alongside another classic character in science fiction movies: Alien. Soon The Predator will arrive on our screens, which is announced as a reinvention of the series.

A priori everything looks very good and has all the ingredients to succeed. It stars Sterling K. Brown, Keegan-Michael Key and Olivia Munn, among others, and directed by Shane Black (who was curiously one of the protagonists of the original film).

According to the synopsis, we will see a new class of much more dangerous Predators: “From the depths of outer space to the streets of a small town on the outskirts. The hunt returns home with the explosive reinvention of Shane Black’s Predator saga. After improving their abilities with DNA from other species, the most lethal hunters in the universe are stronger, smarter and more deadly than ever. When a young man accidentally activates his return to earth, only a disparate group of ex-soldiers and a disenchanted science teacher can prevent the end of the human race. ”

The film will premiere on September 21.
