The reboot of “Hellboy” no longer has the subtitle “Rise of the Blood Queen”, but the Blood Queen of the old name continues in history and has an almost confirmed actress to play it.

According to the Deadline, Milla Jovovich is in final negotiations to live the villain.

Already confirmed in the reboot are David Harbor, the new Hellboy, and Ian McShane (“American Gods”) as Professor Broom, adoptive father and mentor of the protagonist.

In the plot of “Hellboy” (now it is called just so), the title character will have to escape from a medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy humanity. In “Hellboy” comic strips, such a sorceress is the Queen of Blood, named Nimue.

Neil Marshall (responsible for episodes of “Game of Thrones” and “Westworld”) is the director. The film has no release date, and Guillermo Del Toro, of the previous lengths, is not involved.
