Due to the health and physical appearance that Maribel Guardia has, it would seem that she does not drink soft drinks, but this is not the case and it is she herself who confesses why she prefers them instead of drinking water.
Maribel Guardia reveals that she does not drink water for a “very rare” health issue, and although it is not anything serious, drinking pure water causes her discomfort and that is why she avoids it.
In an interview with the media in CDMX, Maribel Guardia, 62 years old, suffers from a condition called dysautonomia, which prevents her from drinking water, and if she did, it would cause severe discomfort.
“That’s why I don’t drink water, water completely washes away the sodium in my body, so during the day I drink a lot of soft drinks for athletes,” shares the beautiful Costa Rican who is currently recording her participation in the telenovela Corona de Lágrimas 2, a telenovela on Televisa.
In several news portals, it is shared that Maribel also told the press that due to the aforementioned condition she has even fainted on several occasions since it causes unexpected pressure drops.
“Whenever I exercised, I drank a lot of water and first I felt half happy and then, on the ground, I lost consciousness,” says Maribel, who, in addition to being an actress, is a singer and television presenter.
Maribel Guardia arrived in Mexico at the end of the seventies to start a career in the show business as an actress and thanks to her beauty and talent she was able to participate for the first time in the play Los Caballeros de la mesa Ronda.
Then, in 1981, Maribel Guardia, whose real name is María del Rocío Fernández García, made her debut in Mexican cinema in the film Como México no hay dos alongside the late singer Vicente Fernández.
