Despite having a great acting career, the actress decided to take the next step and get more involved in productions.

With almost 18 years of acting experience, Maite Perroni has decided to go one step further and is about to start a call to receive scripts that she produces.

“For my part, I begin to receive scripts, to create groups of writers to be able to generate content and start doing things for platforms, so that I am the producer of the projects,” the actress from “Dark Desire” and “El set of keys.

Perroni started her career in 2004 as part of “Rebelde”, whose phenomenon included a musical group that toured Latin America alongside his companions Dulce María, Anahí, Alfonso Herrera, Christopher Von Uckermann and Christian Chávez.

“Beware of the angel”, “My sin” and episode of the series “Killer Women” followed in his filmography. She was one of the actresses who did not stop working during the height of the pandemic, with all the sanitary measures available.

Last year he shot the thriller “Without you I can’t” in Spain, alongside Mauricio Ochmann, which hits Mexican theaters next Thursday.

In it she plays Blanca, a woman who hasn’t seen her brother in three years and, when she sees him, tries to repair things from the past at any cost.

Directed by Chus Gutiérrez, it shares credits with Rubén Ochandiano (“Operation Escobar”), Elena Irureta (“Homeland”) and Pedro Casablanc (“Pain and Glory”).

“It is always an enriching experience to work in other cultures, you nurture yourself and learn. There are also different words: in Mexico we talk about continuity, costumes and there they call it raccord. When they told me to go see that about the character and the scene I said what is that”, remember amused.

“Many will believe that my character is crazy, but no,” she adds.

“Without you I can’t” is the second production that Perroni shares a set with Spanish talent, since she already did it in the series “Heirs by accident”, now in streaming.
