Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have starred in a libel trial that has remained one of the most important media events in the world of entertainment.
Although the litigation will be resumed on May 16, there have been several opinions regarding the statements presented by both actors, where it is not exactly defined who tells the truth of the facts.
Despite this, the people closest to Depp and Heard have not frequently spoken out regarding the trial, and have decided to take a more discreet role concerning their opinions.

One of them is the daughter of Johnny Depp, Lily-Rose Depp, who has not spoken about the trial in which her father is involved. However, she once made her opinion of him clear from the first controversies she suffered from Amber Heard
It was in 2016 that Johnny Depp’s daughter spoke about the first controversies her father had with Amber Heard regarding their divorce proceedings when they were still married.
In that controversy, the actor’s ex-wife filed for divorce and assured in a Los Angeles court that Depp had physically and emotionally abused her during “their entire relationship.”
Given this fact, the daughter of Johnny Depp published an Instagram post (which was deleted) where she states that her father “is the sweetest and most affectionate person in the world.”
“My father is the sweetest and most caring person I know, he has been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and me and everyone who knows him would say the same,” Rose commented on that post.
Depp is currently demanding US$50 million in damages from Heard, due to a publication by the actress in the Washington Post, where she states that she was allegedly a victim of “domestic violence”.
For her part, Amber Heard claims that her ex-partner is carrying out a smear and defamation campaign against her and makes a counterclaim requesting US$100 million.
