Kimberly Loaiza’s Devoto already has a cover in norteo

Yet, a video dubbed “Devoto” by a regional Mexican music group about one of Kimberly Loaiza‘s best current songs, also known as La Lindura Mayor, has recently gained traction.

The video, which was posted on the TikTok app on January 13, shows Kimberly Loaiza in the centre of a party where a diverse ensemble is performing. What is interesting, though, is that the group is interpreting La Lindura Mayor’s song while she sings and dances.

There are several additional videos from the same party in which Juan de Dios Pantoja appears, but they are still gaining popularity on the TikTok platform.

Yet, as expected, similarities with other internet and music figures arose in the comments, resulting in criticism and accusations. Although this version was not well recognised in its early months of release, and it is only now getting traction, the cover by La Reta was published on January 12 of this year.
