Jada Pinkett Smith reappeared on social networks after her husband Will Smith will star in the most controversial moment of the 94th delivery of the 2022 Oscar Awards after attacking Chris Rock.

The actress expressed how she feels after becoming the victim of a bad joke by the comedian during the gala held this Sunday and that she overshadowed Smith’s Best Actor award with the slap.

Through a post on her Instagram account, Jada wrote: “This is a season of healing and I’m here for it.”

The message has been interpreted by many people as a position of support for Will Smith because the actor has already publicly apologized to Chris for his reaction to a “joke” against the artist about his alopecia.

“Violence in all its forms is poisonous and destructive. My behavior at the Academy Awards last night was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me and I reacted emotionally.”
