Jada Pinkett reveals ‘her biggest wound’: ‘It always comes out in my relationships,’ she says

In her latest issue, Pinkett sat down with her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, her daughter, Willow Smith, and ‘ Mother Hunger ‘ writer Kelly McDaniel, to discuss precisely mother-daughter relationships, though the Will Smith’s wife took the opportunity to share one of her “greatest wounds” throughout her life.

During the conversation, they shared several anecdotes that have to do with motherhood, although Jada touched on a topic related to her difficulty in maintaining stable personal relationships and the reason why this situation has cost her throughout her life.

“ Mine is simply feeling that I have no protection. It is my biggest wound, and it always comes out in my relationships, ”confessed the actress of Matrix Revoluchiones (2003).

Adrienne Banfield-Norris seconded the deepening of this topic, and it was precisely she who revealed the reason why this feeling of lack of protection for her daughter arose: the death of her mother (Pinkett’s grandmother).

“The environment that was when I was little, my addiction, she found refuge in my mother. And then when mom died, that’s when my addiction was over, ”Jada’s mother revealed, who returned to the subject to talk about how she coped with the death of her grandmother.

“I had to deal with a lot of adult problems at a very young age, I couldn’t deal with all those emotions that I was feeling. I just had to move on.”
