The filming of the first spin-off of the saga ‘Fast & Furious’ continues. ‘Hobbs and Shaw’ will bring back to the big screen the characters of Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who will be forced to form a team to stop the new threat posed by the new villain who will play Idris Elba. But these two veterans of the franchise will not be alone, and thanks to Johnson we can enjoy a first look at the character of Vanessa Kirby.

As he has been doing during the filming of the film, the actor of ‘Jumanji: Welcome to the jungle’ has returned to using his Instagram account to share a photo in which he appears with Kirby characterized both as his characters. In addition, Johnson has offered the first details of this new character, which is Deckard Shaw’s sister, Hattie, who in addition to working as an operative of MI6, will spend a lot of time with Hobbs.

Directed by David Leitch (‘Deadpool 2’) and with a screenplay by Chris Morgan, who has already worked on the last three installments of ‘Fast & Furious’, this new film will expand the universe of the films starring Vin Diesel, and although still unknown details about the plot, we know that Johnson and Statham will not have the easy things, they will have to face a villain played by Idris Elba, and The Rock says that “no one has defeated him.” It will be on August 2, 2019 when the movie theaters are again filled with the action of this long-running franchise.
‘Fast & Furious’ returns to the cinema and reaches television

The engines of ‘Fast & Furious’ are not planned to be turned off at the moment. After the first spin-off of the saga we will see Toretto and the family in ‘Fast & Furious 9’, with Justin Lin in the director’s chair and the return of Jordana Brewster after his absence in the previous installment. But this new film scheduled for 2020 is not the only novelty that we will have of this saga that began in 2001. Netflix and Dreamworks are preparing a series of animation that will feature Diesel as executive producer. The ‘Fast & Furious’ cars still have a long way to go.
