Here Are the Definitive Return Dates for Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as the Bad Boys!

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence have confirmed that they will return for a fourth Bad Boys movie. According to Variety, Sony Pictures has confirmed that directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will be returning for the untitled sequel.

Directed by the same team that was supposed to lead Warner Bros.’ cancelled “Batgirl” movie, “Bad Boys for Life” will finally hit theaters in 2020, reuniting Will Smith and Martin Lawrence as Miami-Dade police officers Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.

One of the final blockbusters released before the pandemic, “Bad Boys for Life” made $426.5 million worldwide. Shortly after its release, Sony revealed that a fourth “Bad Boys” picture was in development.

Smith and Lawrence released a reunion video on social media on Tuesday morning with the message, “IT’S ABOUT THAT TIME!” to announce that production on the new film had begun.

Smith is seen in the video on his way to Lawrence’s house, where he announces, “Yo, I’ve got an announcement. You guys need to put down your phones. Smith drops the first few notes of “Shake Ya Tailfeather,” a song by Nelly, P. Diddy, and Murphy Lee from the “Bad Boys II” album that was released in 2003, as a subtle clue.

‘I wish I didn’t know what I’m going to show you.’ Two people show up at Lawrence’s house and announce that production on the fourth film has begun. The time has come! In a loud voice, Lawrence says something.

“Bad boys for life, babe,” Smith chimes in, echoing the duo’s tagline and emphasizing the “For life,” as they joke about how the title of the third film wasted the pun they might have used for the fourth. Even so, we shouldn’t have called it that,” Smith says wryly.

To that end, Jerry Bruckheimer, Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad, and Chad Oman are producing the untitled sequel, with Lawrence, James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman, and Jon Mone acting as executive producers.
