Calder is a beauty with brains, graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in politics and sociology. However, instead of getting a boring job after graduation, the avid fashionista decided to team up with a friend named Max Hurd to start a fashion blog.

The blog, which at the time of writing this article is defunct, has been called The Trend Pear. In one of her blog interviews, Calder revealed that they didn’t necessarily have an end goal to start blogging, but they were doing it just for fun and would continue as long as people showed interest. Eleanor Calder and Louis Tomlinson met in 2011, there have been two stories about how the couple initially met. One says they were introduced to each other by Tomlinson’s One Direction bandmate, Harry Styles, and the other claims that Calder was friends with someone who knew the direction of One Direction and would then show up there.
