Actress Gehana Vasisth’s anticipatory bail application rejected in Bombay High Court

The Bombay High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of ​​actress Gehana Vasisth in a case related to making porn films. Gehana Vasisth is accused of threatening women for acting in porn films and seducing them in the name of money. Hearing his petition, a bench of High Court Judge Justice SK Shinde refused to grant him bail. To avoid arrest in this case, Gehana Vashistha had filed an application in the High Court last month. A case has been registered against Gehna under section 354-C for breach of privacy of women.

Apart from this, a case has also been filed against him under sections 292 and 293 of IPC for selling objectionable material. Gehana Vasisth has also been made an accused under sections 66E, 67, 67A of the IT Act. Mumbai Police had recently registered three cases against different people for running a porn film making racket. One of the accused is also Raj Kundra, husband of famous actress Shilpa Shetty. Businessman Raj Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19. Presently he is in judicial custody. 

In one such FIR, there is an allegation against Gehana Vasisth of getting work in porn films on the pretext of getting work for small acting scenes. There is an allegation of selling these movies by uploading them on a mobile app named Hotshots. It is alleged that the ownership of this mobile app was with Raj Kundra. The police has also applied in the lower court to register a case against Gehana Vasisth under section 370. During the arguments on Gehna’s application, her lawyer Abhishek Yende said that the police had already obtained evidence from her. So there is no need to arrest them.
