Gigi Hadid described her recent vacation to India as a “unforgettable first tour” to the country. Gigi took to Instagram on Monday to post a slew of photos from her recent trip to Mumbai. Gigi posed with her companions in front of the Gateway of India in the first monochromatic photo.
Gigi also shared a photo of herself in a saree from the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) event, where she posed with Nita Ambani. She also shared photos from the event, including a performance and Isha Ambani mingling with the audience.
She posted another photo from a Mumbai street, this time with her arms around her friends. The supermodel also shared a photo of herself drinking coconut water from a street seller. She also went to church. Gigi chose a black and white shirt with green flared trousers and white sneakers for the day out.

It was an honour to be there to witness your family’s vision come to life, in a beautiful world-class Cultural Center to celebrate and cultivate India’s creatives and heritage,” the supermodel captioned the post.
“After seeing the inaugural evenings of The Great Indian Musical and India in Fashion show, I learned so much and believe this venue will nurture future generations to explore their passions—from dance to design, from music to art,” she continued.
Gigi also shared photos and a video from the occasion in another post. Gigi appeared in a photo with actress Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. She also posted a photo of the supermodel posing for the camera with actor Shah Rukh Khan. She also posted a black and white snapshot of herself with Zendaya, Penelope Cruz, Tom Holland, and Law Roach.
“The @nmacc.india Gala was a celebration of Indian craftsmanship, and its inspiration on fashion globally, with the inauguration of the exhibit India in Fashion: The Impact of Indian Clothing and Textiles on the Fashionable Imagination, curated by the renowned @hamishbowles!” she wrote in the description.
“It was my pride and joy to present this masterpiece designed by @abujanisandeepkhosla this Chikankari sari was made in the Lucknow region of India, and took a year to make; each woman who crafted it specialises in a different stitch, truly exceptional workmanship.. I’ll never forget it,” Gigi said.
