The WhatsApp instant messaging application is constantly updated to add new features that help improve the experience of its millions of users around the world, improvements that range from graphic changes to more complex tools.
On this occasion, the company owned by Meta is working on a new update, which will come exclusively for Android, which will have a new way of previewing images and videos when they are shared as documents.
Once again the medium wabetainfo specialized in reporting all the news of WhatsApp and that also constantly participates in private betas, has been responsible for releasing images that show the operation of this new update that will come to the app.
As you can see on the screenshot, this image was shared as a document and there is now a proper preview. In previous updates, you couldn’t tell the content of a document since there was no preview. – Wabeta info
For now, WhatsApp is implementing this feature for a small group of users in the beta, version 2.22.5.11, so it is likely that this update will officially reach users of the Android operating system in the coming weeks if it receives acceptance and desired approval.
