Japan activated the tsunami alert after a strong earthquake occurred off the coast of Fukushima and Miyagi. Through social networks, the first videos of the 7.3 magnitude earthquake began to circulate.

The phenomenon was recorded at 11:36 p.m. on Thursday, with a depth of 60 kilometers, according to information from the Japan Meteorological Agency, which has warned of a tsunami in the most affected area of ​​up to one meter high.
