WhatsApp: How to react to messages with any emoji?

Everything seems to indicate that the famous WhatsApp application already allows you to react to messages with any emoji.

everything seems to indicate that the famous WhatsApp application already allows you to react to messages with any emoji and today we will let you know how you can access the function.

That’s right, as you may remember, for a couple of months WhatsApp users can finally react to messages, however, now we can do it with any emoji.

Mark Zuckerberg announced this feature last May, but since then, as explained above, we can only use six of the more than 3,000 emojis that are available.

This is how many users wondered why the reactions were limited to only six of them and it was not possible to choose others beyond the preset ones.

However, the truth is that there is no longer anything to worry about because this limitation is coming to an end.

We are rolling out the ability to use any emoji as a reaction on WhatsApp,” Mark Zuckeberg wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.

It should be noted that the method to react to messages with any emoji is extremely simple and identical to the one that beta version users have been using in recent weeks.

Simply, we must enter any WhatsApp conversation and make a long press on the message that we want to react to.

To the right of the six emojis, an icon with the “+” symbol will appear that will allow us to choose the emoji that we like the most.

While on Android the emojis section of the keyboard will open, on iOS we will have a navigable section.

Now that you know that the feature will be available to all users, you may be wondering when you will be able to use it.

According to Mark Zuckerberg’s message, the deployment has already begun, which means that it will reach all Android and iOS users in the coming days or weeks.

So for now it only remains to wait and, beyond this function, keep the application updated from the App Store and Play Store to receive the latest news.

It is important to mention that Meta’s messaging application has been receiving many new features, among them, the possibility of pixelating images to protect the content of our photos, sending larger files, groups with up to 512 people, and more.
