Losing your cell phone or having it stolen is a truly disconcerting experience. In many opportunities, it does not even have to do with the value of the device, but because of the importance of the data, it stores. There are several ways to find mobiles, but sometimes it is too late to execute them. There are also methods by which the integrity of the content can be guaranteed, although to achieve this you have to be very careful.

But if you have already lost your smartphone or have been robbed and you have not been able to locate it in time, the first step to follow is to unlink all your accounts from the device to prevent third parties from accessing your information. Next, we will tell you how to do it remotely.

Unlink Google account

The process to remove the association of a Google account with an Android device is simple and can be done both from a smartphone and from a computer.

To do this, the steps to follow are:

• Enter the Settings of your Google account.
• From there, go to the “Security” section.
• Find the “Your devices” section, and tap on “Manage Devices.”
• Tap on the icon with three vertical dots located next to the name and icon of the device that you want to unlink from your account.

Unlink WhatsApp account

Unlink Facebook account
