Graham Potter, manager of Chelsea, says he will be fired if results don’t improve because he is “not foolish.”

Graham Potter has emphasized that he is aware of the severity of his position as the manager of Chelsea and that he would “understand” being fired if the team’s dismal run of form continues.

The current position of Chelsea is eighth.

WHAT CAME TO PASS? In Potter’s first full transfer window, he was given a war chest of more over £300 million ($362 million), which was 37% of the entire expenditure by the league. Nevertheless, it is quite unlikely that this massive injection of cash would offer any kind of instant improvement in form.

The Englishman has made it clear that he is aware that he will not be in his current position for much longer, despite the fact that Chelsea is now in ninth place and has only won once in all competitions since the turn of the year.

This list is not likely to get any shorter either, as Hakim Ziyech’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day did not go through, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to turn down an offer from Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC in order to compete for his starting position.
