Kevin Feige has said that there will be an additional boost in Female Centric superhero films in Phase 4 at Marvel Studios.
In the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Feige, 45, confirmed that female superheroes are an important part of the Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“With (‘Ant-Man and therefore the Wasp’) and currently with ‘Captain Marvel’ and plenty of movies to be proclaimed within the close to future, i am anxious for the time wherever it isn’t a novelty that there’s a female-led superhero moving picture, however it’s a norm,” the Marvel foreman same.
“And it’s less a story of, ‘Oh, look, a feminine hero’, and it’s additional a story of, ‘Oh, what is this about? Who’s this character? i am excited to visualize that.’ and that i assume we will get there,” he added.
When asked why it took Marvel 10 years to supply a female-led superhero film, Feige same earlier studio bosses were afraid and not assured whether or not women-centric films are going to be ready to had best at the box workplace.
“I assume there ar heaps of reasons not the smallest amount of that was fighting for several years the incorrect notion that audiences didn’t wish to visualize a female-led hero (film) as a result of a slew of films fifteen years past that did not work.
