Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora confirmed for Covid positive and are in isolation.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora, both Bollywood stars and closest friends, have tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to ANI, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) revealed that the actresses had breached COVID guidelines by attending several parties. It further said that there is a possibility that the pair will be super-spreaders of the virus.

The BMC has demanded that anybody who had contact with Kapoor-Khan and Arora undergo an RT-PCR test.

In an Instagram Story, Kapoor Khan said that she expects to be “up and about soon.”

“I immediately secluded myself, according to all medical standards.” “I ask that everybody who has had contact with me be tested,” she said in a statement.

She went on to say that her family and workers, who have all been vaccinated twice, are “currently not experiencing any symptoms.” “Fortunately, I am feeling OK and plan to be up and about shortly,” she wrote.

Later that evening, Arora confirmed her diagnosis with a message on her Instagram Story. “I’m adhering to all medical standards and BMC regulations.” “Please get everybody who has contacted me tested,” she wrote.

She also said that her whole family and employees have been completely vaccinated and had tested negative. “Remain safe and responsible,” Arora urged.

According to PTI, tests for Kapoor Khan and Arora were done on Saturday, according to BMC officials.

“It was revealed yesterday that they tested positive… Both are under home quarantine,” the source added, adding that individuals should observe COVID appropriate behaviour to prevent the sickness from spreading.

According to BMC sources, persons who came into touch with the actors have been tracked down and tested, the results of which are pending.

According to the sources, the municipal council would investigate accusations that both had breached coronavirus standards and attended many parties.

Kapoor Khan and her friends were recently sighted at a party hosted by producer Rhea Kapoor at Anil Kapoor’s Mumbai home. The celebration was also attended by actresses Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora, and Malaika Arora, as well as designer Masaba Gupta.

The 41-year-old actress was also sighted visiting filmmaker Karan Johar’s home for a celebration commemorating the 20th anniversary of ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.’ The Arora sisters, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Karisma attended.

Previously, actor Amit Sadh had caught COVID-19 and said that he was in home quarantine. Urmila Matondkar, an actor-turned-politician, tested positive for COVID a month ago.
