Novo Cangaço: Masked Criminals attack CEF agency in MG

Wednesday (22), in the wee hours of the morning, masked criminals broke into a branch of the Caixa Econômica Federal bank in Itajubá, Brazil, and took money (MG).

According to g1/ Sul de Minas, residents of the community-made recordings of armed men and gunshots during an intense conflict surrounding the city and shared them on social media.

There have also been reports of people being hurt, and it is not out of the question that some individuals have lost their lives.

In some of the other recordings, there are also individuals who seem to be held against their will.

A Military Police unit was assaulted by masked criminals who were equipped with guns, and those masked criminals fired at the Military Police unit while they were being attacked by those criminals.

The Caixa Econômica Federal branch’s pawn box was attacked somewhere around 0:30 in the morning on Thursday, the 23rd, according to the findings of the Military Police, who confirmed the incident.

The Prime Minister also said that there was no information on injured local police officers or people in the area.

In addition, the police reported that the perpetrators had split up into two distinct convoys, one of which was traveling towards Pouso Alegre through BR-459, and the other of which was heading towards So Lourenco via Maria da Fé. Both of these routes were taken in the direction of So Lourenco.
