From noon there will be rain showers and thunderstorms throughout Austria, with individual thunderstorm cells also being violent. With the passage of the disturbance, the wind will blow increasingly briskly from the west, and gusts of wind are possible in the vicinity of a thunderstorm.

In the north of the Alps, residual clouds will initially bring some rain showers on Tuesday, otherwise, the day will begin with a wide range of sunshine. During the day it will remain mostly dry and sunny in the north under the influence of slightly cooler air masses with only a few clouds. In the southern half of the country, there is still warm, muggy air, which will lead to high cumulus clouds, rain showers, and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

The sun often shines on Wednesday. There are also numerous cumulus clouds, especially over the mountains and hills. After all, rain showers and thunderstorms often occur here during the afternoon hours. Unstable stratified air will continue to determine the weather in the eastern Alps on Thursday. The weather starts generally sunny. Starting from the mountains and hills, however, the first cumulus clouds and sometimes the first thunderstorms will form by noon. In the afternoon the chance for thunderstorms increases in general.
