Gerardo Morales underwent emergency surgery for kidney stones

According to what was known, the governor of the province of Jujuy and presidential candidate for the UCR, Gerardo Morales, was urgently admitted this Tuesday afternoon.

What complicated the health of the Jujuy president were some kidney stones detected this Tuesday. The first information indicated that he underwent surgery for this reason and that he “had a compromised left kidney” for which they had to place a stent due to an arterial rupture due to renal thrombosis.

It is unknown how his schedule will continue, since he was recommended to have at least 48 hours of rest, so some activities of his campaign could be affected.
