There are flu and covid vaccinations available at several locations in Paulista, Buenos Aires

Anyone who wants to take advantage of this Sunday (26) to get immunized against flu or covid-19 can go to Buenos Aires parks, downtown; Severo Gomes, in the south zone; Ceret, in the Southeast; do Carmo, in the east, and Juventude, in the north. Applications go until 5 pm in the parks and until 4 pm, in two locations on Avenida Paulista: a tent located at number 52 and a partner pharmacy, at number 995.
The first and second doses of vaccines against covid-19 and the first, second, and third additional doses against the disease are being offered.

Currently, people over 50 years of age who are immunosuppressed can receive the third booster dose, and citizens over 45 years old, the second additional dose. The immunizer against covid-19 is also available for children aged 5 to 11 years. Adolescents aged 12 to 17 years can now receive the booster dose of the vaccine, provided they have taken the second dose at least four months ago.

For those who had Janssen as their first dose of vaccine, new doses are available, subject to the following criteria: people over 18 years of age can take the second additional dose, provided they received the first booster at least four months ago. For those over 40, the third booster dose is also available, observing the same deadline.

Pregnant or postpartum women should receive exclusively Pfizer or Coronavac immunizers, and for immunosuppressed pregnant women and postpartum women, exclusively the Pfizer vaccine. Due to maintenance in the VaciVida system, exceptionally this Sunday, the online consultation of previous applications is not available for health professionals who apply for vaccines. Therefore, it is necessary to present the physical or digital proof of the immunization. The digital voucher can be accessed on the e-saúdeSP app, available for Android and iOS mobile phones.

The flu

The vaccine against the influenza virus, which causes the flu, is available for the entire population over 6 months of age. It is necessary to warn that, for children between 5 and 11 years of age, measles and covid-19 vaccines should not be applied simultaneously. The priority must be that of covid-19. After 15 days, the measles vaccine comes. For the general population, over 12 years old, and health workers, simultaneous immunization between measles, flu, and covid-19 vaccines can be done.

Fourth dose

From this Monday (27), São Paulo begins to vaccinate the fourth twelve people over 40 years old. 5 million people in this age group can receive the immunizing agent, who has already received the booster dose (third application) with an interval of four months.
