A former WWE superstar who was just released has a cameo in Charlotte Flair’s championship battle

Charlotte Flair successfully defended her title as SmackDown Women’s Champion. Michael Cole made a cryptic allusion to Mandy Rose during her title bout against Sonya Deville.

An episode of the blue brand featured a rematch between the two stars, who had previously faced off but were soundly defeated.

Cole made a comment about Rose and Deville’s old tag team, Fire and Desire, while they were in action. According to him, the Pridefighter was beginning to show some “fire and drive” during the bout.

Sonya DeVille and Mandy Rose have been close friends for years in real life. After their bitter 2020 grudge fight on SmackDown ended, Mandy Rose would find success as NXT’s Women’s Champion.
