New synopsis of ‘Doctor Strange 2’ would reveal who is the mysterious villain

Among them is the villain they will face, since even the officially shared synopses only mention that Doctor Strange will have to fight against “a new and mysterious adversary .”

In this way, various speculations have been made about who it could be; However, recently a Philippine cinema chain, called SM Cinema, shared a new synopsis that would reveal his true identity.

Who could be the villain of ‘Doctor Strange’?

This synopsis reads: “Dr. Stephen Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens the door to the multiverse, including an alternate version of himself, whose threat to humanity is too great for the combined forces of Strange, Wong, and Wanda Maximoff.”

This would reveal that the villain Stephen and his allies will face is himself in his most evil version, also known as Supreme Doctor Strange, whom we met in the fourth episode of the series ‘What If…?’

This one is titled ‘What If…Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands?’ and tells a story in which Stephen Strange does not go alone in his vehicle to the gala, but invites the love of his life, Christine Palmer, who loses her life after an accident.

This motivates Strange to delve into the mystical arts; however, the pain caused by his loss of him leads him to absorb the power of magical creatures for centuries to try to avoid Palmer’s fatal fate.

However, Doctor Strange tries to stop Supreme Doctor Strange, his most evil version, which, according to this new synopsis, could happen in the second installment of the film.

This synopsis also coincides with another that was leaked last December 2021, when they discovered that an international Disney site uploaded what the new movie would be about.

Thus, in a fragment, you can read: “a terrible threat hangs over humanity and the entire universe that can no longer be sustained with its power alone. Even more amazing, the greatest threat in the universe looks exactly like Doctor Strange .”

Although this could be an incredible plot, we have to wait until next May 6, when it hits Mexican theaters, to see the movie and find out who is the villain in “Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness”.
