Kate Kristol is 17 years old, she is a high school student, she likes to play the piano, guitar, and ukulele. Like anyone else, she deals with everything that adolescence entails. In addition to leading a normal day to day, she works hard to stomp on the music scene.

The young performer originally from McAllen, Texas, promotes her new song “Retouch me”, with which she honors her roots, Tejano music. It is a catchy melody to the rhythm of cumbia with Texan touches, a song with which Kate will envelop your senses with her beautiful voice.

“Retouch Me” was composed by Kate Kristol and Elías Medina, who was also the producer. “I feel that it is a subject with which many girls and also boys can identify because we all go through the stage of falling in love at school.”

The charismatic and talented singer shared with us that “Retouch me” was a true story: “It’s something that happened to me, I was very much in love with my teacher and the teacher turned out to have a husband and I came to find out later.”

From an early age, Kate Kristol discovered she had a passion for music. “I’ve always known what I want to do, I don’t know what I’d be doing if it weren’t for music, it’s actually a passion, it’s something I’ve grown up with.”

At the age of 14 she fully entered the music scene, releasing her first single “Steal a kiss” and making her first promotions, “but from the age of four she was already singing”.
