The entire Metropolitan Region goes to Initial Opening
This Thursday, in the new balance of the Government regarding the Covid-19 figures in the country, the health authority reported that the entire Metropolitan Region, including the Maipú commune, will advance to Phase 4, Initial Opening.
As explained by the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, a positivity of 1.29% has been registered at the national level in the last 24 hours and shipments of vaccines continue to arrive for the country, which will allow to continue advancing with the vaccination plan.
The undersecretary of healthcare networks, Dr. Alberto Duñac, confirmed that the change in the Step-by-Step Plan will take effect from this Saturday, August 28 at 5:00 a.m.
At the moment, there is no news regarding a change in the curfew time.
