Willem Dafoe put these conditions to return to interpret the Green Goblin

The first time that Willem Dafoe gave life to the villain was in 2002, during the first film adaptation of Spider Hero.

On December 15th, “ Spider-Man: No Way Home ” premiered, one of the most anticipated speculations of the whole year, so recently it has been revealing some information about its production.

Without a doubt, one of the most iconic Spider-Man villains is the Green Goblin, so his participation in this recent installment was indispensable.

In recent days, the actor revealed what had been the conditions that he put to the producer Amy Pascal and the director Jon Watts, to become the villain again.

Willem commented that “Doing all these physical activities was very important to me . In fact, one of the first things I said to John and Amy when they proposed the movie to me before there was even a script, was that I didn’t want to just suddenly appear as a cameo or just filler in close-ups.”

Also, the protagonist of “The Lighthouse” commented the following: “It is impossible to add integrity or fun to the character if you do not participate in these things, because all things of action form your relationship with the other characters, with the story, and also it allows you, it makes you earn the right to play the character ”.

Less than a week after its premiere, “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is about to break the box office record, generating more than 50 million dollars in its preview, so it is expected to generate between 150, and $ 180 million in its first week.
