I really hoped to see Rosemary Harris as Aunt May in the film. She was amazing in the original trilogy and it would have made sense for her to show up in the film as she could have known who Spider-Man is by now. All they had to do is have her enter the house, where Ned brings the other Spidey’s, with Tobey when he enters. She could be in a wheelchair and she and Peter could be trying to find out what the hell is going on.
Then she could have given one of her amazing speeches to Tom, along with the two Spidey’s, and given him the inspiration and motivation to leave Spider-Boy behind and become Spider-Man, which is basically what happened.
It would have been a nice way to say goodbye to the best Aunt May we ever got on screen, and since she is still acting at the age of 94, she could have definitely done it.
