Throughout this trial, the actors have taken the stand to give their testimony and present sufficient evidence to support what was said. However, it became known that Amber Heard wanted to prepare beforehand and contacted a private detective to investigate her ex-husband.
According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the ‘Aquaman’ actress would have hired the services of a private detective to investigate Johnny Depp and obtain evidence of violence both physically and psychologically.

The detective, identified as Paul Barresi, announced that Amber Heard came to him so that he could spy on Johnny Depp and find evidence that would help her in her testimony for when she had to speak at the trial.
But, things did not turn out as Amber Heard expected, because, despite the hard work that the detective did, no negative evidence was found against Johnny Depp, quite the contrary.
The detective mentioned that he traveled to different countries around the world to what the actor has been through to speak with friends and acquaintances of Depp for three decades, but he failed to obtain the results his ex-wife was looking for because everyone spoke wonders of him.
“I went to America, France, Italy, Britain, everywhere Johnny Depp went, I couldn’t find a case or even an admission of him physically abusing a woman. She is like an angel. No one said anything derogatory.”
The detective even mentioned that people had no words to describe how generous actor Johnny Depp is.
“I interviewed dozens of people who had known him for three decades, and no one had a bad thing to say about him. In fact, they couldn’t express enough how generous he was.”
