Actress Vanessa Hudgens arrived at the event in a look reminiscent of a dance of the time that could be described as for the series Bridgerton. Moschino‘s sheer black dress covers her from neck to toe and has lace details around her chest. But what really sets the look apart are the big puff sleeves that add a lot of drama and elegance to Lady Danbury’s style. Hudgens completed the look with stunning jewels from Messika.

As for her beauty look, Hudgens wore her hair in an intricately braided bun and kept the drama going with a champagne smokey eye and pale pink lips

In case there was any doubt about the inspiration for this look, in addition to the Gilded Glamor theme of the MET Gala 2022, Vanessa Hudgens seemed ready to walk with fashion journalist Hamish Bowles and La La Anthony, who wore Ralph Lauren and LaQuan Smith, respectively.

The 2022 MET Gala is co-hosted by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The Gilded Glamor theme is a lavish follow-up to last year’s exhibition, In America: A Lexicon of Fashion, which has been postponed to September 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Both parts of the exhibition In Amerca: An Anthology of Fashion, will be open to the public from May 7 to September 5, 2022.
