On September 30, the film “No Time to Die” was released, Daniel Craig’s last film as James Bond, so currently a new actor has not been chosen to give life to the mythical spy.
Among those interested in becoming Agent 007 is Tom Holland, who recently revealed that he had a meeting with Sony executives, with whom he shared his idea.
During an interview with the magazine “Total Film”, the interpreter commented that “I had a meeting, after ‘Spider-man 2’, with Sony to present this idea of a young James Bond film that I came up with. It was the James Bond origin story. It really didn’t make sense. It did not work. It was a child’s dream, and I don’t think the Bond franchise was particularly interested”.
Although Holland failed to become the secret agent, he was able to play Nathan Drake, the star of his most recent film, “Uncharted”.
After 5 films in 15 years, Craig has made the role available as James Bond, and although the franchise has not confirmed any actor so far, there are several candidates.
Among the most popular names to embody the famous spy are Idris Elba, Henry Cavill, or Regé-Jean Page, although so far nothing is certain.
