While the news is disappointing, it is not surprising. Bethesda has been quiet about the game’s development for some time, and it did not appear during a recent Developer Direct showcase of new and upcoming Xbox releases. Rumours about Starfield have been spreading in recent weeks, and it appears that they have finally come true.

To make up for the game’s latest delay, Bethesda has announced a ‘Starfield Direct’ for the game, which will air after the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, 2023.

The new trailer for the game is a cinematic look at new planets and space-faring drama, as well as a brief look at how work is progressing at Bethesda Game Studios.
