If there’s one production Netflix has high hopes for this year, it’s The Gray Man. It is not for less: with a budget of more than 200 million dollars, it has become Netflix’s most expensive production to date. And now we have finally been able to see its first trailer.

The film tells how Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), a veteran CIA agent, is betrayed by the agency and begins to be persecuted by his former partner Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans). Judging by the trailer, the movie promises gunshots, chases, and lots and lots of action.
The film is directed by the Russo Brothers, who with films of the stature of Avengers: Endgame, Civil War, or Infinity War behind them, know very well how to make a good blockbuster.

Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans are not the only stars of the project either, as Netflix has spared no expense. Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton, and Regé-Jean Page, among others, have also joined the cast of the film.

See if Netflix has any hopes for the film, which the Russo brothers have already confirmed they are thinking about possible sequels: “We have conceived of this as a series of films and, again, with the potential to branch out. We could follow other characters, although we are not going to answer all the questions about the film. So when you finish the movie, you’ll have the full story, but you’ll still have questions about the larger universe, Joe Russo told Empire magazine. “I think that’s a way of breaking the mold a little bit, not giving the audience everything.” in a single movie. Not having a closed narrative. Have an open narrative that is like a chapter in a book.”

The Gray Man will hit theaters on July 15, although it can be seen on Netflix from July 22.
