Netflix Premieres: All the movies arriving in May 2022

May arrives on Netflix with an interesting offer for the most movie buffs. The comedy Vuelta al insti, with Rebel Wilson as the protagonist, is one of the novelties that you can find in the platform’s catalog starting this month. Over the next 31 days, the action comedy Incompatibles 2, a sequel to the film starring Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte, will also arrive at the streaming giant; and the romantic tapes Let yourself go and Such for which.

For lovers of documentaries, Netflix premieres Our Father, the feature film that tells the story of the Indianapolis gynecologist who inseminated more than 50 women who came to his office with his own sperm.

Hold Your Breath: Dive Under the Ice

One of the novelties that reach the Netflix catalog this month is the documentary Hold your breath: Immersion under the ice. The film shows the constant sacrifices made by the Finnish diver Johanna Nordblad, to break the record for diving under freezing water, with a single breath.

The action comedy Incompatibles 2 is another of the new feature films that you can see on the platform this month. Starring Omar Sy and Laurent Lafitte, the film again follows police officers Ousmane Diakité and François Monge, who this time must carry out a drug-trafficking investigation in the French Alps. The case gets complicated when they discover that what seemed like a relatively simple operation is actually a complex criminal reality.

Another novelty added to the platform’s extensive catalog is the Mexican comedy Cuarentones. The film follows a cook who has just discovered that his wife has been unfaithful to him for the last 10 years of his marriage. In order to start over, he signs up for a gastronomic contest, which is held in Cancun, where he may meet his better half.

Let yourself go

The romantic drama Let Go , which arrives on the platform this month, has been the behind-the-scenes debut of Sofia Álvarez, screenwriter of To all the boys I fell in love with. The plot revolves around Auden, a young woman preparing to enter college. Her plans may be about to change when she appears in her life Eli, a new boy in town with whom she discovers a facet of her life that she didn’t know.

The plot is set in the near future, in which the Earth is plunged into a sustainable war. The former special agents of Japan’s section 9 have become mercenaries and must face a powerful being who calls himself post-human.

The platform premieres this month the documentary Our Father, a feature film that tells the true story of Donald Cline, a gynecologist from Indianapolis, specializing in fertility techniques, who inseminated more than 50 patients with his own sperm. The events occurred between the 70s and 80s and came to light when one of his alleged children told the story on a television network.

Rebel Wilson is the star of Back to School, the new Netflix original comedy. The film follows a woman who wakes up suddenly after spending 20 years in a coma, as a result of a fall during a school exhibition in high school. Although she is now 37 years old, and she is aware that she is not in the same physical shape as two decades ago, she does not intend to give up and will do her best to win the queen’s crown, which she could not win during his adolescence.

Such for which

Victoria Justice and Adam Demos are the stars of Tal para que, the romantic comedy that premieres this month on Netflix. The film follows an executive of a wine company who travels to a farm to get a new client. What she didn’t count on was finding there the one who could be the love of her life.
