Cobra Kai movie already has a release date and a vibrant trailer for season 5: the dojo war rages on in the Netflix series

What a good way to wake up this first Friday of May and see that Netflix has revealed the first trailer and the release date of the long-awaited season 5 of ‘Cobra Kai‘. Thus, on September 9 we will return to the world of Californian karate.

The trailer is already concerned with making us a brief compilation of Terry Silver’s plan: “conquer” all of All Valley with his dojo franchise and that his “merciless” style of karate is the only one in the entire city. With Kreese behind bars and Lawrence retired, remorseful for all the damage he has done, only LaRusso remains, who must turn to an old friend.

no mercy

And here comes the main “return” to the franchise, which we already saw at the end of last season: Yuji Okumoto will return in the role of Chozen to help LaRusso. On the other hand, it seems that we will have a father and son meeting (Johnny and Robby) as they embark to look for Miguel in Mexico.

Okumoto will be the main addition to a cast made up of Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Xolo Maridueña, Courtney Henggeler, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni DeCenzo, Martin Kove, Peyton List, Vanessa Rubio, Thomas Ian Griffith, Griffin Santopietro or Jaden Labady, among others.

Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald continue to lead the series and have long said they still have plans for future seasons.
