Mary Mouser, one of the protagonists of the “Cobra Kai” series, who plays Samantha LaRusso, wants to be a heroine of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With each season of “Cobra Kai”, the physical demands are more and more, but the actors have shown their skills with roundhouse kicks and great acrobatics, qualities worthy of a Marvel superhero.

There is no doubt that many of the techniques applied in martial arts are applied or should be known by superheroes, such as boxing, acrobatics, jumps, and others.

The actress who plays Samantha LaRusso, daughter of Daniel LaRusso in the series “Cobra Kai” confessed in an interview with the Looper medium her great interest in carrying the mantle of a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

I don’t know if there’s a very specific character, but I know it’s an area that I want to address,” Mouser said for Looper.

In the interview, the actress took the opportunity to confess that she is a great fan of all the women who have played superheroes on the big screen; and, for this reason, it has become one of her greatest desires.

More and more women female superheroes, or should I say superheroes, regardless of their gender, [we see how] they kick butt in that way is something that I never thought I would be able to achieve growing up, she began.

She also pointed out that now, for her preparation for “Cobra Kai“, she has come to “train and feel that I can become capable of doing it, it is a great wish for me. So I don’t have a name of a character I want to play yet, but I’m pretty up for it”.

WHO WOULD BE THE PERFECT SUPERHERO FOR MARY MOUSER?

Although at the moment the 25-year-old actress has not decided on which character she could pursue for future deliveries, she did share an anecdote that she lived on the set of the fourth season of “Cobra Kai”, where she mentions that Samantha LaRusso practices with the sais (a weapon made up of three spikes) and, in the scenes, her companions told him that she had a resemblance to a very particular character.

I’m not going to lie, but that was the joke that was made during the filming. After I was set up with all six of them, I remember holding them in my hands on February 2nd and then performing my scenes with them. What you see in the performance was actually a couple of minutes.

And, immediately, the actress revealed who she looked like.

Every time I did this pose, everyone was like, ‘Do your Elektra pose! Do your Elektra pose!” she declared.

Interestingly, Elektra, in the Marvel comics, is a character that is linked to Matt Murdock, better known as Daredevil, and whom we saw debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, played by Charlie Cox, in the movie “Spider-Man: No Way Home”.
