Lineup for Lollapalooza 2023 includes Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Lana Del Rey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and others

The Lollapalooza lineup has been revealed, and over 170 musicians, including Billie Eilish, Lana del Rey, and others, will perform across nine stages over the four-day event.

The long-awaited lineup for the 2023 Lollapalooza summer music festival in Chicago has been revealed. Top-billed musicians include Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Rey, Karol G, The 1975, and Tomorrow X Together, who will perform at Grant Park from August 3-6.

Throughout the four-day festival, more than 170 performers will play on nine stages

This year’s programme also features Fred, Noah Kahan, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, J.I.D., Maggie Rogers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Diplo, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Tems, the Rose, Rina Sawayama, Lil Yachty, Rema, Morgan Wade, Lainey Wilson, L’Impératrice, Ivan Cornejo, Sudan Archives, and many others.

Via the SMS Presale, which opens on March 23, fans can acquire a four-day general admission ticket at the Tier 1 price of $365. There will also be VIP, GA+, and Platinum tickets available.

Any remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public. One-day tickets for the festival will be available at a later date.

Children under the age of eight are admitted free with a ticketed adult and can participate in Kidzapalooza, an interactive music playground that features family-friendly performances, games, music, and dance workshops.

The Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund, which contributes $2.2 million to assist arts and education in Chicago Public Schools, has a long tradition of aiding the local community.

In addition, the event collaborates with After School Matters, offers an annual employment fair, and engages with the Chicago arts and culture community year-round through continuous collaborations with the African American Heritage Festivals, Teenagers in the Park Fest, Black Culture Fest, and Musically Fed.

Where Does Lollapalooza Take Place?

Lollapalooza has been staged in Chicago since 2005, and it will be 30 years old in 2021. Every year, thousands of music fans attend the festival, which has become a fixture on the city’s summer entertainment calendar.

The festival’s organisers recently agreed to a new 10-year contract with the city, assuring that the four-day music festival will be staged in Chicago for at least another decade. The contract stipulates that the total number of participants at any given time cannot exceed 115,000.

In prior years, the event has included famous acts such as Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Green Day, Metallica, and Lil Baby.

The summer event calendar in Chicago for 2023 is already jam-packed, with the Pitchfork Music Festival in Union Park scheduled for July 21-23 and a NASCAR street race scheduled for the Fourth of July weekend.
