Karol G. is unable to lose weight due to an odd condition

Karol G is without a doubt one of the most significant figures in the urban music scene. Her songs consistently top the radio charts, and she sells out every one of her shows globally.

She did, however, mention one of the challenging times she had to go through when she learned she had a strange disease that prevented her from losing weight.

One of the most successful Latin American singers in recent years, Karol G, who will perform in Bogotá this weekend with two performances on Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22, has accomplished everything through her talent.

The Antioquian singer, however, acknowledged that she went through a period in which she struggled with a medical condition that affected her weight.

The singer, whose songs Provenza and Mamiii are at the top of the radio charts, revealed in 2018 that she had a very specific medical condition that prevented her from losing weight despite her intense training and adherence to very strict diets.

But her endocrine system held the key to the solution.

“Bichota” claimed in an interview that she had “completely elevated insulin” and “the gland that is activated in women when they give birth,” meaning that her body had just given birth and was constantly swollen and inflamed.

“No one can judge your physique.”

The singer admitted that the criticism she received on social media upset her, but she made the decision to unfriend those who made disparaging remarks about her physical appearance. The singer also made it abundantly clear that no one has any right to comment on another person’s appearance.

First, it affected me because I pondered the possibility of becoming a chubby girl.

It seemed to hit me very hard.

People still perceive me in this way, and some keep making comments and telling me things. When they abruptly stop speaking to me, I stop everything because I find it offensive.
