San Juan, PR. – Passionate, energetic, and emotional, this was the meeting of the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter José Alfredo, in his commission to open the concert of the Mexican Cristian Castro in Puerto Rico.
Jose Alfredo, who was invited by the Mexican singer and actor Cristian Castro to open his concert on the island on August 20, managed to captivate thousands of people in the public.
Among his repertoire stood out the interpretation of the songs I fell in love, Poles Opposites and Someone cares for me, a theme where the entire Coliseum lit their cell phone lanterns to together with the artist, pay tribute to his grandmother who died a few years ago. That moment generated emotion among the public, becoming the culminating moment of his presentation.
“I am honored and happy to have had the opportunity to live this experience and to have reconnected with my audience, after a few months with restrictions as a result of the pandemic,” said the artist.
In an explosive closing, where José Alfredo made use of his great scenic power, he performed the rock-ton Hierba Mala, a song in which he set the Coliseo de Puerto Rico to vibrate.
Later during the evening, the singer-songwriter ended his presentation by taking the stage with Cristian Castro, at which point they performed the song Puerto Rico together.
