Johnny Depp would forgive millionaire debt to Amber Heard

The only thing the actor would have worried about was his image, not money.

After concluding the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard , the corresponding authorities notified the actress that she should pay 15 million dollars for the damages caused. However, her lawyers commented that she did not have enough money to pay the debt.

However, the actor ‘s lawyer , Benjamin Chew, hinted that Depp could forgive Heard the debt (or at least a percentage), since he only sought to clean his image in court. 

“Obviously we can’t disclose any attorney-client communication, but as Mr. Depp testified and as we made clear in our respective closings, it was never about money . It was about restoring his reputation and he has,” Chew told Good Morning America.

How much money does Amber Heard have?

In the event that she is forced to pay, Heard would have to disburse less than 9 million dollars , since local laws limit a certain amount to pay for punitive damages, so the initial debt of 15 million would be reduced to 10.3 , to which are also added the 2 that Depp must pay, leaving a total of 8.3 million as debt.
