It was in 2008 that Robert Pattinson reached his pinnacle of fame after playing the most desired vampire by teenagers of the time, Edward Cullen. Now, as he prepares for the premiere of the long-awaited new Batman instalment, the actor has come out in defense of the film following comments from his The Batman co-star Zoe Kravitz.
In a hilarious interview, while the two were promoting the DC film, Kravitz admitted he hadn’t seen any Twilight films, much to the disappointment of Pattinson, who was playing the lead opposite Kristen Stewart.

The British actor did not believe the words of the actress and released a “Yes, of course” in a sarcastic tone. “ It’s not even ‘cool’ to be a hater anymore,” the actor joked.
Kravitz, who plays Pattinson’s love interest in the film and the iconic Catwoman character, responded: “I don’t hate her, I just didn’t see her.” Pattinson continued the humorous exchange and expressed: “That’s so 2010.”
Moments later, the actress stammered that it was a misunderstanding and that she had actually seen the tape, along with her best friend Sky. “No, it’s a lie, wait. I did see it once: my best friend Sky took me to see it but the truth is that I don’t remember it at all ”.
The Batman opens in theatres this Friday, March 4, and critics’ reviews have already begun pouring in, giving it praise after praise and calling it “a Batman movie unlike any we’ve seen.”
