If we mention Joshua Herdman, maybe his name alone won’t tell you anything, but if we mention that he played Gregory Goyle in the Harry Potter saga, things change.

Herdman gave life to a Slytherin student and friend of Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton), but after his success in the movies, he realized that acting was not his greatest passion, so he looked for an activity that would motivate him and give him a new meaning to his life, which he found in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), an activity that also radically changed his body.

Who is Joshua Herdman?

Joshua Colin M. Herdman is an English actor and mixed martial arts fighter born on March 26, 1987, in Hampton, United Kingdom; he is currently 35 years old.

He is the son of former professional rugby league soccer player Martin Herdman and his mother is Jessica Herdman. He did his studies at Orleans Park School, but everyone remembers him for his participation in the Harry Potter saga.

The actor rose to fame when he was just 13 years old, thanks to the character of Gregory Goyle, the Slytherin student and close friend of Draco Malfoy. Although he was one of the antagonists, he always felt comfortable with the role, however, in 2018 he revealed that amid success, his life and career began to derail, as he abused partying and alcohol.

The star began to transform his body and in April 2016 he made his amateur wrestling debut as an MMA opponent, defeating Polish fighter Janusz Walachowski at the City Pavilion in Romford, East London.
