Britney Spears claims she shaved off “two and a half to three inches” of her hair before going out with pals last night. The 41-year-old Toxic hitmaker was out in Malibu again, opening up about a new “mystery” in her life after cutting her long blonde locks.

She had previously dined with husband Sam Asghari at celebrity hotspot Nobu before returning last night with friends. The second time, the chart-topping singer opted to change her look, claiming to give herself a haircut and style before going out with friends.

Britney stated in a new lengthy caption post on Instagram: “Alright, I enjoy things that are a little bit of a mystery. “So, last night, before going out to Nobu for the second time… okay, I was hungry!!!” I had my hair chopped!!! A much… maybe two and a half or three inches.

“My entire head of hair was curled, not straight!” My hair is longer than it was before I cut it, according to a photo supplied to me by a friend. And it’s straight… what the heck.”

Her hair isn’t visibly shorter in a recent upload thought to be from the same night out, which shows the group of friends gathered under a massive fig tree. Britney wrote, “Another mystery… Last night, my pals and I went to see my favorite tree!!! Every year, I take a picture with it!!!

“So, I stood in the same spot as last year… Why was the tree so enormous last year??? “Uhhhhh!!! ” Fans have yet to remark on either post, although Britney has restricted her followers’ ability to comment on her uploads for several weeks.

It comes after Sam published a never-before-seen snapshot from their celebrity-studded wedding last year to commemorate Valentine’s Day. “Happy Valentine’s Day to my valentine,” he wrote on his social media profile, beside a sweet black and white portrait by photographer Kevin Ostajewski.

The bride and groom are seen locking lips in a horse-drawn carriage outside Spears’ huge estate in Thousand Oaks, California.
