Rihanna’s shoe designer, Amina Muaddi, has denied having an affair with A$AP Rocky, calling the cheating rumors “vile gossip” that was “manufactured with malicious intent.”

Muaddi took to social media and posted a lengthy response to speculation that surfaced Thursday night on Twitter.

The 36-year-old shoe designer behind the Fenty 2020 collection said she felt “an unfounded lie” never deserves a response or clarification, but in this case, she felt compelled to address the rumor because it affected people close to her.

I have always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media does not deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile.

“I initially assumed that this false gossip, fabricated with such malicious intent, would not be taken seriously. However, in the last 24 hours, I have been reminded that we live in a society that is quick to talk about issues without considering the facts and that nothing is off-limits. Not even during what should be one of the most beautiful and celebrated moments of one’s life.”

Muaddi added, “Therefore, I have to speak up as this is not only directed at me but is related to people that I have a great deal of respect and affection for. While Rih continues to live the serene life of her best-dressed pregnant woman and I go about my business, I wish you all a nice Easter weekend!”

On Thursday night, a Twitter user claimed that Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had broken up after she caught him cheating on her with Amina.

Just a day before the cheating rumor spread on social media, Amina had posted several photos of Rihanna in a pink outfit showing off her growing pregnant ‘belly’. Amina’s caption included several heart emojis.

Earlier this week, Rihanna appeared on the May cover of Vogue magazine and discussed, among other things, her romance with A$AP Rocky. Although they were already dating before the Covid-19 pandemic spread, the singer said that it was not until the end of the health crisis that their relationship was formalized.

” He became my family in that time,” she shared, describing an “epic road trip” they took in the summer of 2020 from Los Angeles to New York. The trip allowed the couple to get away from the public eye and gave them more intimacy as a couple.

“I cooked on a little janky grill that I bought at Walmart,” she recalled. “I still have it. It works like no other. I love simple things, but also great adventures.
