Through a recording, Dougherty assured that only 1.3 million dollars were paid on account and revealed the amounts: the Aquaman actress paid directly only 350 thousand dollars.

The figure is completed with 100 thousand dollars paid by Depp (when asked, he explained that they were part of his donation), 500 thousand dollars through a donor-advised Vanguard fund, and another 350 thousand from donors in Fidelity. Likewise, the ACLU member cited a 2016 email from the owner of Tesla – and recently also from Twitter – where he explained that the payments would be made over ten years.

“We contacted Mrs. Heard in 2019 for the next installment of her donation and we learned that she was having financial difficulties, ” he argued when asked if the entire amount was covered, whose response was negative.

This would go against statements Amber Heard made to a UK court in 2020, confirming that she had donated the settlement to the ACLU and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
